Delores Bailey, Executive Director, maintains and oversees all programs, development, financial operations and fundraising. She works closely with area non-profits to promote collaborations and community unity. Delores is a member of the following boards and committees: Chapel Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, Foundation for Sustainable Living, Campus Y, Community Leadership Committee, N.C. Clarence Mayo, Project Manager, oversees the construction and renovation projects and assists with administrative tasks. He is directly responsible for developing project budgets and schedules, coordinating and managing contractors, and maintaining project records. Mayo also oversees the maintenance of EmPOWERment, Inc.'s affordable housing rental units. email: 

Jacquelyne Mayo, Financial Officer, brings seven years of financial experience to EmPOWERment, Inc. She is the newest member of the EmPOWERment team. She holds a BS in accounting from North Carolina Central University. e-mail: jmayo@empowerment-inc.org


LaTanya Davis, Property Manager, is a licensed Real Estate Broker with three years of experience in Real Estate Sales and Property Management. She is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of new home sales, general brokerage, leasing, property management, and marketing. email: 

Deanna Carson, Director of Community Programs, joined the team in September 2007. Deanna organizes event in the community, such as Community Watch and Neighborhood Night Out. She also manages our very successful Career Explorers program and conducts the Homebuyer's Education Class. Upcoming projects will include a flu clinic in the Northside and Pine Knolls communities and more fundraising events. email: dcarson@empowerment-inc.org

Pat Fischer, Volunteer, is an extraordinary volunteer with EmPOWERment. Pat is a retired professor from NCCU.

Kathleen Kearns, Volunteer. Kathleen is another extraordinary volunteer. She has been with EmPOWERment for more than a year and has been a tremendous help with our marketing.

Nay Howell, Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator joined EmPOWERment's team last year and has taken the fundraising to a whole new level. She brings many years of nonprofit experience to the group.
